Week 13

April 29 - May 5, 2013

Starting to get more energy. Food is beginning to bother and nauseate less. Noticing salty food cravings like salt and vinegar chips and mustard. Sweets can cause a headache. Starting to wear maternity clothes for more comfort. Still napping, but feeling more productive when I’m awake. Beginning to eat more vegetables again. Breast still achy and tender.

4/30/2013:
text from Marg: Conversation b/w Gray & his teacher at school today:
"Map & Ashwey got a baby".
“Your aunt and uncle are adopting a baby? That's wonderful!”
"What dat, what adopting?"
“Do they already have the baby or are they still waiting for it?”
"No, they have it. They got it at the beach."
...His teacher decided to just text me and find out rather than continue with the conversation. Lol

Week 12

April 22 - 28, 2013

Nausea and heartburn are still issues. Fatigue is getting slightly better. Saw Dr. for early glucose screening and ultrasound on 4/11/2013. Baby was dancing away. Very active and busy. Saw arms and legs and even a 4D image where he/she waved at us. Profile was perfect. Visible nasal bone, no alarms in Down Syndrome screening. Everything looked normal and perfect. The cyst on the right side had decreased from 6cm to 2cm. Dr. was pleased. She mentioned my RH negative blood type and we discussed the Rhogram shot I will receive later.

My first maternity clothes. Trying them on the the Target dressing room.

Very exciting day on 4/22/2013 to share news with family and friends:

Text From Uncle Martin:  Sup sis. Sorry I missed you. And I know this is super late. But I wanted to congratulate you and tell you I could not be happier for u guys and for all of us for that matter. I am really sorry it took me this long to call. But I wish you the absolute best. Here's to hoping at least someone in this Fam doesn't pass on the Gingervitis.

FB message from Layla Willingham:
Just heard your exciting news! Didn't want to post publicly, but I did want you to know that I am so happy for you guys! It sounds cheesy an cliche, but now you will truly know what it feels like to have your heart walk around outside your body! I never knew what my heart was capable of until my babies. Congrats and you and Baby Crockett will be in my prayers for health!
John David was "peanut" too! I know exactly what you mean. There is another quote out there that goes something like "No one will ever know the extent of my love for you. After all you're the only one who has heard by heart beat from the inside." I've always thought it was really sweet.

4/27/2013
Text from Aunt Margaret: Hey, Gray woke me up at 0400 asking for a pic of Map, Ashwey, and their baby for his nightstand. He thinks that ur baby is already here. So, will u get Ash to send me that 4D ultrasound pic again. I'm going to print it out and frame it next to a pic of u guys I just framed for him. I guess Gray was dreaming about u guys.
He said "I weady (ready) to meet my new baby now!" Talking about yours.

4/28/2013
Text from Aunt Margaret:
So I’m going to remove the pic of your baby from Gray’s room. He asked me all day long “has Ashwey got da baby from da hospital yet?” Cannot handle this for 6 more months!!

4/28/2013
Text from momma (Marmee) on Sunday night:
Sherry G jumped up and down, hugged me & squealed. Said she had been praying for you
