Week 5

December 7th - 13th

This little nugget is getting bigger and bigger. Every week brings something new and fun.

She turned one month old on December 8th. We'll use Mr. Broccoli as a scale in her monthly pictures.

I LOVE this huge flower on her head. (Handmade by her Momma)

Another bow. (Handmade by her Momma)

She had to look nice for all the fun activities we did when Mimi and Pop were in town. She had some very nice conversations with her Mimi in the car as we traveled.

We went to the Pinellas County Botanical Gardens for their Christmas lights walk. It was really fun.

Getting kisses from Daddy before he heads to work one morning.

I may have to leave my Christmas tree up for a long time. She loves looking at the lights.

Mommy had her girlfriends over for a girl's night this week and Bea hung out with Daddy in the bedroom to avoid the "hens" cackling in the other room.

After the girls left this is what I found in the bedroom. They were both worn out.

She took her first nap in her crib this week. She did well. I think she enjoyed stretching out.

Snuggling on the floor with Mommy - my favorite time of the day. (At least while Daddy is at work.)

Wearing the onesie that Gray and Reid both wore. I actually have photos of me holding Gray and Reid in this onesie too. Pretty cool to pass it down to 3 kiddos.

She is having  a hilarious discussion with the Christmas tree.

Posing in her bee bow. My little doll.

Bundled up for a walk around the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights.

This week brought Bea's first smiles at me. I was delighted when she focused onto my face and broke out into one of her perfect smiles. Made my year.

She also discovered the birdies above her head on her swing.

It's such a privilege to be her mommy and watch her discover her amazing world. Loving this baby so so much.

Week 4

Week 4
November 29 - December 6

In the words of Bea....

I watched my first Iron Bowl with my mommy and daddy. My hat was signed by Gus Malzahn, Auburn's head coach, at the beginning of the football season. I must have been a good luck charm for Daddy's tigers.

I comforted my Mommy when her beloved alma mater lost to that cow college down the road.

Because Daddy's team won the game, he got to pick my outfit for the party we went to that evening. I don't think he could have found a more appropriate onesie.

Mommy discovered I fit into a special pink checkered dress she bought when she was pregnant with me.

I posed for a photoshoot in a swaddler crocheted by a family member just for me. I loved it!

I wore my camo tshirt I got as present from my Uncle Robert and Aunt Andrea before I was born. It was super comfy.

Wil and Stevie, my furry siblings, are always wrestling and barking - but I can cry louder than both of them any day. They are usually doing something silly.

I've been practicing my reading. This book is very engrossing. I highly recommend it.

Stevie wanted to read it too, but she's a bit clumsy. Also - I have the hiccups in this video - I can't believe my mom posted this....how embarrassing...

My dad loves carrot sticks. He put this on my head and called me a unicorn. Seriously?

He may be goofy with baby carrots, but I love snuggling with him every night when he comes home from work.

I love snuggling with my mommy too.

This is the day I went shopping with Charlie. He's fun.

So my mom took my sweet padding out of the bassinet after she took this photo. She kept saying it was too high now. I just wanted my foot propped up during my nap. What's the big deal??

This is my favorite onesie. It's Batman. My mom bought it for my dad for his first Father's Day gift this past June. I look GOOD.

My mommy and I like to snuggle and play in the mornings. We even have the same eyes!

This is my daddy and his great-grandmother on the left. It's me and my Mommy on the right.
Mommy laughed at how we were posed. Just the same.

My Mimi and my Pop came to see me. I love them! Their snuggles were just right.

I am 4 weeks old!

I had a blowout diaper while Mommy and Mimi were out shopping. The only clothing to survive the carnage was my lone sock.

Mommy and Daddy took me to Christmastown at Busch Gardens with Charlie, Mandi, Mimi and Pop.

Some of the time I slept in my carseat.

Mandi and Charlie and (soon to be) Caroline!

I met Santa Claus! I cried and I pooped my pants!

I loved the lights on the Christmas trees.

Daddy loved celebrating Christmas with me!

So far my 4 weeks here has been pretty nice. I love playing with  my Momma and Daddy. I got to meet my Pop and play again with my Mimi. I loved the lights at Christmastown. Can't wait to see what's next!

Week 3

Week 3
November 22 - 28, 2013

This week was so much fun. Popi came to visit and got in LOTS of snuggle time with Sweet Bea.

Funny sleepy face.

We hosted our friends for our annual Friendsgiving meal. It was a great time for all of them to finally meet Bea. (Although Jess and Heather had already met her.)
L to R: Jessica, Heather, Gabe, Jen, Julianna, Joe, Robert, Mandi, Tonia, Bob, Ashley, Jon and Julie

Popi arrived on Sunday and immediately jumped right in.

The dogs aren't used to sharing their Popi, but they adjusted well.

Bea's first Christmas tree. We put it up a bit early since we'll be traveling a lot in December and will miss out on enjoying the tree. Bea snuggled up in the Moby wrap I purchased and was snug as a bug helping me decorate the tree.

Sporting her Gator hat for a photo to send to Uncle Robert.

Daddy went back to work this week. He carried a lot of photos to put up in his cubicle.

Bea and Popi chilling in the backyard.

Bea getting some quality Daddy time after his first day back to work.

Thanksgiving morning.

Shopping with Popi and Momma. Trying to get in a little Christmas shopping.

Another Bea outfit - a gift from Rob and Mandi.

A chilly Thanksgiving morning calls for some cuddly PJs.

Daddy dresses Bea for her first Thanksgiving meal.

Sleepy Daddy and Wide Awake Baby.

Snuggles with Popi.

Wearing a skirt for some Friday after Thanksgiving shopping.
(We only went to Babies R Us.)

Bea's first trip to the Starbucks down the street.

This week was very fun. Bea's sleeping is still unpredictable and I'm still up several times a night for nursing. She's a hungry gal and wants to eat as SOON as she is hungry. She goes from happy to screaming very quickly. We joke that she's our little Diva. She def. has her opinions and is NOT patient when it comes to dinnertime. We mostly chuckle about it. I'm hoping our sense of humor about it keeps up, too.

It was great having Popi here to help out with things. He and I cooked the food for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. I'm still enjoying the leftovers. He helped me get used to being out and about with BB. I know when I probably need to use the baby wrap and wear her and when she'll be good just chilling in her carseat on the stroller base.

I have been blessed with a precious little gal. We are still enjoying noticing the tiny changes in her each day. She's quickly out growing her Newborn sized clothing and starting to fill out the 3 mo. outfits.

Baby girl is a blast. I'm enjoying this tiny baby stage so much.
