Week 2 was a bit easier than Week 1.
Bea went to her follow-up new child pediatrician appointment that Wednesday, November 20th.
At her first appointment on the 13th she weighed 7 lbs 5 oz (down from her birth weight but up from the weight she was when we left the hospital). By her second appointment a week later she was up to 8 lbs 3 oz! The doctor was very pleased. She said they prefer the baby get back to their birthweight by week 2. She has surpassed that weight before she was even a full 2 weeks old (her weight at birth was 7 lbs 13 ozs).
Doctor was happy with Momma and baby. Her length and head circumference had not changed from her earlier sizes: 20.5 inches long and 14 cm head circumference.

Week 2 - it was easier than Week 1 - still completely smitten with this gal.
We're enjoying seeing her "wake-up" in tiny little ways. We love the adorable smiles she makes in her sleep. Grunts are adorable, poots make us laugh and burps make us cheer.
