Nine Weeks!
Two months old!
This week Bea officially turned 2 months old. She's been so awake, talkative and fun.
She has loved her new toy she got for Christmas. This has a piano key kick board that plays notes and music when you kick it. I think her favorite part of this toy is not the music and the kickboard as I thought it would be - it's the mirror that is right over her face. She loves to talk to her mirror friend.
I got this outfit from the thrift store before she was born.
I love it and I can't believe she can already fit into it!
She loves it too.
Mommy and Beezus.
Sleepy cuddly gal.
We had some chilly days in Tampa this week and Bea was happy to cuddle up in warm clothes and blankets and cuddle with me.
I love the feeling of this gal sleeping on me. So peaceful. I soak up every second.
Bea met her cousin Caroline - Caroline arrived on December 30th. Her big brother is Charlie. So fun to have two babies!
Caroline was the same weight when she was born as Bea was. It's amazing the growth that happens in two months!!
Bea's been holding her head up great so we tried out the bumbo seat. She loves it. I don't leave her in there for too long, but she loves being able to look around.
Sent this photo to Daddy at work.
Ready to watch the National Championship game with Daddy. Auburn didn't win, but they played great. She really watches the game. Anytime football is on she turns toward the TV and stares. I know it's the bright colors, contrast and constant movement on the screen. Makes me and her Dad laugh - she's a football baby for sure - which is good.
More cold weather snuggles. This pair of pants with the attached tutu cracks me up.
Father/Daughter snuggles while Daddy is on his lunch break.
Two Months old - With Mr. Broccoli.
Ignore my feet in this photo and just focus on that adorable, happy baby.
She's so big!
And CUTE!
She's discovered her hands and loves to chew on them.
Mommy and Bea.
A comparison.
One month on the left and two months on the right.
I LOVE this kid.
And look at that RED hair!
At her two month doctor appointment she was perfectly healthy. She weighed 11.8 lbs (70% percentile) and was 21.5 inches long (25% percentile - she's a shorty - but so are me and Matt). Her head circumference was 16 cm. Doctor said she looked great. She got her immunizations - one oral medication and 3 shots. She was a champ for the shots. She cried afterward, but it was more her sleepy cry than an "I'm in pain" cry. I think it was roughest on Daddy who couldn't even watch.
The nurse loved her strawberry blonde hair. Bea even talked to the nurse a little bit before the shots were given - the nurse was impressed. :-) Of course, Matt and I think Bea is a genius.
Everyday with this baby is awesome and fun. I couldn't ask for a better job and thank God daily for her. I pray she always stays this happy and healthy.
Love you Beezus!
