Baby's First Christmas!

Time for a photo overload...and this isn't even all the photos that were taken. Most of these are from Robert's camera - I haven't even emptied my photo card on my camera yet.

This week was when she really started making eye contact and smiling and responding to people. She loved talking and smiling at them.

At church on Sunday Bea got to meet a very special friend of mine, McKenna. 

I baby sat McKenna and her brothers a LOT over the years and it was very special for her to get to meet and hold Bea.

Bea met Uncle Michael.

She played with her cousins, Gray and Reid.

She loved chilling in the bean bag chair.

She met Uncle Martin.

And Aunt Maggie.

And she thought Aunt Maggie's thumb was delicious.

Santa came to see Bea at Popi's house.

Bea had quite the audience as she opened her gifts.

It was cold this week and she made the CUTEST teddy bear.

Bea met her Great Aunt Nancy.

And her Great Aunt Tina.

And her Great Grandma Burns.

She relaxed in the midst of all the Christmas craziness with Aunt Andrea.

She went on Batman adventures with her Daddy.

And helped he and Mommy open gifts.

She met her cousin Katie.

She opened up more presents.

She found out she was part of 4 generations.

She helped her parents celebrate 10 years of marriage and her Great Grandparents celebrate 60 years.

It was a great first Christmas. Bea's presence helped ease some of the pain of missing my Mom this season. I focused a lot on making her first Christmas as joyful and fun as a 6 week old could handle. She did great meeting all the new people. She was happy and smiley - a joy of a baby. I was so happy to see her responding so well to all the relatives who love her so much. It was a VERY Merry Christmas 2013.
