April 11-17, 2014
Friday night date with Daddy.
Supper at Maggiano's.
Going to town on the lemon from Daddy's water. Didn't seem bothered by the taste at all and she LOVED chewing on it.
Saturday fun day at Homosassa Wildlife State park.
An Easter manatee mural at the wildlife park restaurant. Bea loved it.
Pouch riding with Momma.
Her passport photo.
Our new couch was delivered this week!
Bea in her new playroom.
Friday evening FaceTime with Popi.
Giggles and rasberries.
Her favorite noises to make.
Momma accidentally left Bea's hat at home when we went to the wildlife park. I had to make an emergency purchase in the gift shop. She LOVES the new hat.
Insisting she's big enough to drink out of this water bottle.
Daddy convinced her a baby bottle was better.
Brave girl posing next to the stuffed gator.
I found these carrots at Publix and remembered some bunny ears I got in the Target dollar bin.
An Easter photo shoot followed.
Matt feeding the bunny.
She loved gnawing on the carrot.
Matt and his baby bunny.
The bunny and me sharing a carrot.
Cutest baby bunny ever!
Sunday morning wake up smiles for Daddy.
Smiled so big her paci fell out.
I always try to snap a Sunday outfit photo. She has so many dresses and looks adorable in them and I want to remember how cute she looks on Sundays. Always in her Sunday best.
With Daddy.
With Momma.
After I took the bunny photos I noticed how well she sat up in the bucket I used as a prop. I was curious on how well she could hold herself up. So I set up another photo shoot and tried it out.
She did WONDERFULLY. Sat up all on her own - 4/15/2014 at just over 5 months old.
Got this banner at a discount store and LOVE it.
Matt's Aunt Elizabeth gave me a dress she had hand smocked for her daughter Sarah. It was given with the stipulation I pass it on to the next baby girl in the family. Matt's other cousin has three daughters and they all had worn this dress, so it was very special for Bea to get a chance to wear it.
Luckily she fit into it around the same time, Matt's cousin Sarah (the original dress owner) came to Tampa for a visit. I got this photo of them together and love how special it is.
The next day I did a quick photo shoot int he backyard with Bea in the dress.
Bea's cousin Caroline, the next girl in the family, lives here in Tampa and I wanted to get the dress to her very soon so she could wear it too.
Beautiful dress and beautiful baby.
Doing all these photo shoots inspired me to start using my big camera more.
Especially now that she can play independently and hold her head up so well.
She loves the camera and knows just what it's for.
Loving on her Anna baby doll from Frozen.
(Her first movie to see in the theater.)
Deep concentration.
She sat up on Sunday and I had her sitting in the cart on Monday. She loved it - but she didn't last too long.
Determined to chew the phone.
Making this face despite all the entertainment around her.
Baby bunny.
Smiles for the selfie.
My favorite video of her. Laughing at the baby in the mirror.
Bea's world.
Baby Elton John.
I purchased these sunglasses for her at the grocery store. I liked how they strapped on to protect her eyes. When I got them home and could really see how they looked on her I cracked up because she looked like Elton John. So I did what any parent would do and pulled out a few more clothing pieces and turned my child into a pop star. I even had the piano.
Matt and I both said that the first line of Crocodile Rock popped into our heads when we saw these photos: "I remember when rock was young...."
Goofy Gal.
I obviously have a wonderful time being Momma to this precious kid. Sitting up at 5 and a half months, smiling at everyone she meets, laughing at herself in the mirror, lighting up when me or Matt walk in the room, lighting up when the puppies appear around corner and trying to pet them.
I am one lucky gal.
