The fun at home with family continues!
Friday morning we got up early and said "Good Bye" to Aunt Maggie and Uncle Martin.
We had a fish fry with Grandma Burns at Popi's house that night.
Bea loved playing and talking. She loves the attention. :-)
Very happy ladies.
Loving having command of the room.
I have a feeling I will be paying for my raising very soon.
Chewing constantly.
Friday night we went into town with Aunt Andrea, Uncle Robert and Popi to do a little car "window shopping". Bea loved the Jeep Aunt Andrea found.
She even tried to take it for a test drive.
All smiles on Saturday morning.
First time to try rice cereal and bananas. She joined the clean plate club!
Meeting Andrea's puppy, Lucy. Another new member to our family.
Playing with Aunt Andrea and Uncle Robert on Saturday morning.
Again, commanding the room.
Saturday night we had a nice fire going in the firepit out on the deck. It was super relaxing.
Popi and Bea were ready for marshmallows.
Selfie with Aunt Andrea.
Playing with Mommy.
On Sunday, Bea attended Sunday School at Tuscumbia.
It was pretty adorable.
She started out next to the bigger kids but had to be moved since the dude next to her was getting into her space a little.
She was very entranced by the class and watched all that happened pretty closely.
We had lunch with my cousin Bradly and his wife Katie - who isn't in this photo for some reason.
After church we relaxed with Aunt Andrea.
We played with Uncle Robert.
And Snuggled.
Her Great MawMaw Willingham came to see her.
It was a nice visit.
After church we got burgers at Burger King and came home to watch some infomercials on PBS. This one featured music from the Ed Sullivan show. Popi and Bea danced a bit to some sweet oldies.
Smiles on Monday morning.
Visiting Great Grandmother Crockett.
And her Great Great Aunt Martha.
Smiles with Mimi.
We stopped by to say hi to Pop before heading out of town.
And even got some more time in with the cousins on Monday afternoon.
Bea and Reid had a lot of fun.
We stopped to see Great Grandma Burns one more time before heading to Birmingham.
On Tuesday we visited Aunt Andrea at her work and Bea got her first sucker.
She also got to test drive a car that was more her size.
Beezus in a Beemer.
After that, Popi dropped me and Bea off at the Birmingham Airport and we flew back to Tampa.
Bea preferred playing on the seats in the waiting area.
She discovered a new toy Wednesday morning.
I was inspired to pull out some toys I'd been saving once I saw her playing with things at Gray and Reid's.
The hanging toys on her piano kickboard are still her favorites.
Naptime.
It seems like she grew up a ton during that trip too. She starting eating cereal, she sat up a few times without being propped, she had her 4 month photos taken with Hannah Sumner - now that we're back, it seems like she's just so big and active! I love every stage she's been in and I've already been wishing for time to slow down. Every milestone is so bittersweet. I am SO proud of her for accomplishing it, but I also know it all means she's growing up. It's something I am extremely grateful for, but also something I hate to see....does that even make sense?
She's rolling back and forth quite well now. She loves to roll to reach toys. She likes to have her swaddle blanket when she's cuddling, but I wouldn't say she's extremely attached to it. She can fall asleep just fine without it - I just notice it seems to calm her when it's close by during those fussy, sleepy times.
Her bottles are never less than 7 oz per bottle. She likes banana baby food the best. She prefers it mixed with cereal and formula - not straight up.
She makes me proud everyday. She smiles at everyone she meets.
She's living up to her name for sure - "she who blesses".

wish I could give her (and you!) a big hug. I don't know how, but she keeps getting cuter and cuter! and yay for her being a good eater...palmer was a bad eater and it was so sad!
