Week 45

Week 45
September 12-18, 2014

Bathroom of Hobby Lobby selfie.
Momma was there alone and had to use the bathroom.
My only choice was to put her on my lap and get out my phone to keep her relatively quiet.

She didn't cry, but she didn'e keep quiet either.
This video is one of her favorites to watch over and over. She loves the bathroom echo.

This was once a full box of tissues.

Until Hurricane Beezus (as her dad lovingly referst to her) came through.

I didn't stop her. It kept her quiet and happy.
Plus, it's not like the tissues were unusable after this. In fact, I stuffed them back in the box a couple times and let her pull them out all over again.

We went over to Jon's for supper and Bea enjoyed playing with Jackson.

Bea went to her first football game.
Gaither vs. Plant

Heather teaches at Gaither and Plant High is just a few blocks away from Jon's house.
We waited out a bad rainstorm at Jon's and then met Heather and Jessica at the game.

We had a super fun family morning at the aquarium.
(We went to the aquarium a lot during the month of September as we had free access since we were Zoo passholders.)

Lunch break in the aquarium.

The aquarium has a very neat feature. They have rocking chairs, donated by Cracker Barrel, lined up one of the hallways in front of the big saltwater tank. You can relax, rock and just watch the fish swim by in front of you. It's a great place to stop with a kiddo. Bea has had several bottles or snacks in these seats.

Puffer fish puffing by.

Post bottle, Bea got a closeup view.

Family.

We asked a caricature artist to do a picture of Bea.

A bag of goldfish helped her sit still.

Here's Beezus!

When we got home she changed into her Bama tank top from Aunt Andrea.

"Helping" Dada.

I'm not sure who trained who to do this, but Steve and Wil don't seem to mind.

She loves food. Some of her favorites include couscous, quinoa, banana, apple, spinach, sweet potato, and she's really starting to like Momma and Dada's food more than her baby food.

Snuck the remote control into naptime.

Proud of her sneaky ways.

Video gaming and bottle holding.

We found a Cinderella dress for her at the thrift store. She's adorable in it!

I had to get some work done on my car so she and I killed some time in the kids waiting area at the Honda place. It's one of the first times she was big enough for actual kid stuff.

SHOES!! Because she walks!!!

Preview of her Halloween outfit.

They're both obviously very excited about it.

I did manage to get one smile.

She climbed up on this ladder all by herself. And I didn't stop her. I just watched in awe. She's getting so big and strong and brave.

She kept looking at this book and cracking up laughing.

This was the page she kept laughing at. Not sure which of these photos did the trick.

Eating lunch at the mall with Momma and sitting in a mall high chair for the first time.
