Week 51

Week 51
October 24-30, 2014

Sunday, October 26, 2014 - Bea was dedicated at our church.
Our pastor, Ken Whitten, prayed over Bea and our family as Matt and I committed to God to raise Bea to be a good Christian.

It was a very special day. Mimi was able to attend and her Tampa aunts, Heather and Jessica also came.

Bea had a lot of family watching from Alabama and Tennessee.
Uncle Michael and Lauren, Uncle Martin and Aunt Maggie, Uncle Tyson, Aunt Margaret, Gray and Reid, Pop, Popi, Kara and Aunt Andrea and Robert.

Thanks to Aunts Jessica and Heather for the photos.

That afternoon we had a party in Tampa to celebrate her dedication and her birthday.

Singing Happy Birthday!

Eating the cake.

She mostly ate the icing.

My favorite shot.

Opening presents.
Her friends Zoey Williams and Jacob Gribbins came to the party, too!

Dress came from Ms. Katie Tilka

Blocks came from Ms. Julie Corrance

Pink boots came from Ms. Leticia Gaglianone

Playing with Zoey and Dada in the tent she got from Jon Schneider.

Reading with Heather.

Jacob, Bea and Jessica enjoying the slide.

Sliding Zoey.

Sliding Jacob.

Jacob and his parents swinging.

Birthday girl.

Loving the party food and her pink boots.

Cornhole with Ms. Leticia

She didn't nap during or immediately after the party. She did fall asleep at 7:45 and slept straight through until the next morning at 9:30. She partied hard!

The party aftermath on Monday morning.

While Mimi was in town she wanted to go to Ikea. So Bea and I tagged along. We had a blast.
Bea needed BOTH babies. We called them her twins.

Kissing the piggy.

Checking out the Ikea chair.

Loved hiding in it.

Outside time.

Helping me with the card in WalMart.

Silly Girl.

We had a lot of photo sessions this week as I tried to capture her at 12 months (or nearly 12 months).
Since it was almost Halloween we had to grab a few photos with her pumpkins.

Pretty proud of herself for coming in from the yard and climbing the porch steps all on her own.

Ready to go back out as soon as she came in.

We went to the pumpkin patch at a nearby church that night. It was very nice to have this within walking distance from our house.

She thought it was the COOLEST.

We got a pumpkin to take to Zoey's house the next night to carve. Bea also got her first sucker and LOVED it. Who doesn't love a sucker?

On the day before Halloween we went to the library reading and music time in costume.

Momma and her little "Bee"

She even had a huge flower to carry as she buzzed around.

Bea and her friend Ellis (Ellis's mom is from Alabama, too!)

 Bea's friend, Keith.

Ellis and his Momma, Emily.

Keith and his Momma, Patricia.

We couldn't wait for Halloween!
